Mauro Balcazar

Mauro Balcazar is a Florida based artist and owner of the Coffin Couture design studio. By day, a mild-mannered designer for audible.com, creating cover art for the likes of Margaret Atwood and R.L. Stine. But by night, crafting art inspired by his love of monsters, film and all things pop culture. His art ranges from alternative movie posters, portraits, enamel pins, tarot cards and recently, custom designed resin ghosts.

Currently, his work’s featured in “John Carpenter’s Halloween: Artbook, “Aliens: The Artbook” and Galleries1988’s enamel pin exhibits. More of Mauro’s professional work can be found at MrMauro.com and CoffinCouture.com, or in person, at many of his convention appearances nationwide.
