Javier Hernandez is a cartoonist and arts educator with 26 years experience as a self-publisher. His signature creation El Muerto was adapted as a film in 2007 starring Wilmer Valderrrama. In addition to El Muerto his other creations include Maniac Priest, The Coma and others. Javier is the co-founder of the Latino Comics Expo, launched in 2011. He also teaches comic book workshops through schools and libraries.
