Larry F. Houston is the Emmy-nominated Producer/Director of THE X-MEN Animated Series, the phenomenally successful show that expanded and laid the foundation for Marvel’s multi-billion-dollar MCU franchise. He is also a San Diego Comic Con INKPOT AWARD Winner in Animation and is currently working for Disney/Marvel Studios as a Consultant Producer on the X-MEN ’97 series on DisneyPlus.
He was also the Director of Captain Planet, The Fantastic Four Season 2, GI Joe Syndicated, GI Joe: The Movie & Movie Intro, The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, RoboCop: Alpha Commando, three (3) Care Bear Movies & a Care Bears CBS-TV series, Kid N’ Play, The Karate Kid, Salty’s Lighthouse and artist/director of the original X-MEN series Intro.
He drew HE-MAN Mini-Comics for Mattel, wrote “SWARM” from Spiderman and his Amazing Friends and “HEARTS AND CANNONS” for the GI JOE syndicated series.
His Storyboard Artist career included JEM, Thundarr, Static Shock, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, ExoSquad, Transformers, Spawn, Mr. T, Batman, Real Ghostbusters, Conan, Swamp Thing, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Orbots, Bionic Six, Visionaries, Hulk, Defenders of the Earth and many more 80s/90s adventure shows. .
