GLAAD Media Award winning and Foreword Indie Book of the Year Nominated cartoonist for 'Four-Color Heroes,' and the creator of 'Blastosaurus,' 'Black Sand Beach,' 'Ghost Ghost,' a long list of picture books and 250+ other comics and graphic novels.
In 2023 he launched his new line 'Richard Sux,' creating grown up comics. So far under this banner he has released his memoir 'Octopus,' 3 volumes of his dirtbag soap opera 'Haunted Hill,' the 4 parts series 'The Ex-Wives of Frankenstein,' the atmospheric horrors 'Wet Cement' and 'The Lights That Guide You Home' as well as a range of anthologies of short comics and strips.
Richard Fairgray is a firm believer that sleep is merely practice for death, so he carves out around 20 hours a day to make comics.
Originally from New Zealand, Richard now splits his time between Los Angeles and British Columbia and is set to release his 300th book before his 40th birthday. If he looks tired, tell him to snap out of it.
