Comic Book Editor Shelly Bond is the co-owner and Editor-in-Chief of Off Register, a Comics & Arts Lab she runs in Los Angeles with her husband, UK artist Philip Bond. Shelly is the writer and art director of 2022’s Filth & Grammar: The Comic Book Editor’s (Secret) Handbook, which Neil Gaiman said is “Essential for everyone in the comics business, and everyone who wants to be in the comics business.” She released the follow up to F&G, Fast Times in Comic Book Editing, in May 2023. She teaches Comics Editing at Portland State University and Editing and Self-Publishing via Zoom classes offered through offregister.press.
