is almost here!
Materials Handling Program
In an effort to increase efficiency of load-in and reduce excess labor, we have allotted 1 pallet of goods free for each 10x10 leased, plus a complimentary hand-carry window. Materials will NOT be weighed on-site, oversized pallets and/or crated materials will count as 2 pallets.
For over 90% of exhibitors, careful planning and packing will allow you to maintain zero-to-minimal impact on your move-in, and should not increase your cost to exhibit. Please carefully read the information on our complimentary materials handling program below, where you will also find links for your exhibitor services.
(1) 4’x6’ pallet/cart-pull per (100) sqft of exhibit space complimentary
Oversized pallets and/or Crated Materials will count as (2) or more pallets, at the discretion of the Dock Foreman. We will have a representitve at the docks to help resolve any disputes in real-time.
Additional pallets will be billed at $195/pallet
Shipping
Palletized and wrapped shipments received at show-site can be used in exhibitor’s allotment of complimentary materials handling
Advanced Warehouse shipments will be billed at the standard rates found in the FREEMAN Online Services link
Loose and/or small parcel shipments will be billed at the standard rates found through the FREEMAN Online Services link
Hand-Carry
A (4)-hour window will be provided for (30) consecutive minutes of hand-carry from the dock. Once exhibitor arrives at the dock during their (4)-hour window, exhibitor’s (30) minutes will begin. After exhibitor’s (30) minutes have concluded they will re-park in the garage, or wherever appropriate. Hand-carry may continue from the re-parked spot through the standard entrances, not through the loading dock.
Move-in Details
Reminder: the Los Angeles Convention Center is under construction to upgrade for the future. South Loading Ramp and the Truck Bridge between South and West Halls are no longer available.
South Hall exhibitors will access the docks through the Temporary South Loading Ramp, which is accessed through Convention Center Dr.
West Hall and Concourse exhibitors will access the docks through the West Loading Ramp, accessed through L.A. Live Way.
For South Hall, there is also another event on Wednesday that is concluding and moving-out. No Wednesday move-in time in South Hall will be available.

New Exhibitor FAQs

South Hall & Kentia
Load-in will be accessed through Convention Center Dr., at the base of the South Temp-Loading Ramp. You will need your exhibiting name and number to gain access. The Freeman team will be there to direct you to the closest available location to unload.After unloading, you must immediately re-park your vehicle in the closest garage, or wherever you have arranged parking for yourself.
You may set-up your booth until 8pm with in/out access. After 8pm, you may stay to set-up your booth with approval from security. You will not be permitted in/out access at this time.
West Hall & Concourse
West Loading Ramp is located at the west corner of West Hall, near the intersection of LA Live Way and Pico Blvd. The entrance is small and is accessed from LA Live Way.You will need your exhibiting name and number to gain access. The Freeman team will be there to direct you to the closest available location to unload.
After unloading, you must immediately re-park your vehicle in the closest garage, or wherever you have arranged parking for yourself.
