Los Angeles Comic Con

is almost here!

As you know, our materials handling policy is being revised starting with this year's show.  In an effort to increase efficiency of load-in and reduce excess labor, we have alloted 1 pallet (or alternatively 400 poundweight) of goods free for each 10x10 leased, plus a complimentary hand-carry window.  For over 90% of exhibitors, careful planning and packing will allow you to maintain zero-to-minimal impact on your move-in, and should not increase your cost to exhibit.  Please carefully read the information on our complimentary materials handling program below,  where you will also find links for your exhibitor services.  

Materials Handling Program:

  • (1) 4’x6’ pallet/cart-pull per (100) sqft of exhibit space complimentary

  • Additional pallets will be billed at $195/pallet

OR

  • (400) lbs of crated/larger materials per (100) sqft of exhibit space complimentary

  • Additional crated/larger materials will be billed at the standard rates found through the FREEMAN Online Services link

Shipping

  • Palletized and wrapped shipments received at show-site can be used in exhibitor’s allotment of complimentary materials handling

  • Loose and/or small parcel shipments will be billed at the standard rates found through the FREEMAN Online Services link

Hand-Carry


A (4)-hour window will be provided for (30) consecutive minutes of hand-carry from the dock. Once exhibitor arrives at the dock during their (4)-hour window, exhibitor’s (30) minutes will begin. After exhibitor’s (30) minutes have concluded they will re-park in the garage, or wherever appropriate. Hand-carry may continue from the re-parked spot through the standard entrances, not through the loading dock.

  • Temporary Structure Guidelines

    All structures and related sub-assemblies must be designed, assembled, and configured so that the entire temporary structure project and all related components are structurally sound and seismically stable.

All booths and tables must be set up by 12:00pm NOON on Friday, October 4th.

Move-In Details

SOUTH HALL BOOTHS TARGET MOVE-IN:

  • Wednesday, October 2nd: 2:00pm - 6:00pm. ISLAND BOOTHS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

  • Thursday, October 3rd: 8:00am - 6:00pm.

WEST HALL BOOTHS TARGET MOVE-IN:

  • Thursday, October 3rd: 10:00am - 2:00pm. ISLAND BOOTHS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

  • Thursday, October 3rd: 2:00pm - 6:00pm.

ARTIST ALLEY & SMALL PRESS TARGET MOVE-IN:

  • Friday, October 4th: 8:00am - 11:00am

All booths and tables must be set up by 12:00pm NOON on Friday, October 4th.
