Christopher Lloyd is an acclaimed American actor best known for his iconic role as Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown in the "Back to the Future" trilogy (1985, 1989, 1990). Born on October 22, 1938, in Stamford, Connecticut, Lloyd's distinctive performances have left a lasting mark on both film and television.

Lloyd first gained widespread recognition for his role as Reverend Jim Ignatowski on the TV sitcom "Taxi" (1978-1983), earning two Emmy Awards for his performance. His portrayal of the eccentric and endearing taxi driver remains one of his most memorable television roles.
